Mark any performance as a Press Night. It stays hidden from the public and opens only with the matching promo code — set the code to 100% off for complimentary tickets.
Step by step

Flag the performance
Performances & bookings → choose the performance → Press night panel → turn it on.

Create the code
Promo codes → New code, 100% discount, linked to that performance.

Send it
Email the code to press and guests; they book as normal and pay nothing.
